Friday Aug 09, 2019
Friday Aug 09, 2019
Our listener Brett suggested we tackle the Season 1 arc with Severide and the fired paramedic that accused him of sexual assault, especially in light of the #MeToo movement. Then, we realized it also overlapped with Hallie’s death, which we’ve never really talked about on the pod, and knew we had to cover it.
We also discuss the latest One Chicago news and give you an update on what we’ve been watching this summer, including Veronica Mars, The Boys, The Bachelorette and more!

I had a thought about the Casey, mills, and dawson relationship. I noticed the looks that each one gave while waiting in the waiting room. Casey gave Mills that guy head bob. He looked at gabby liked he wanted her to comfort him. While Gabby looked conflicted when Mills went to support Casey. It seemed like she wanted to but couldn't. My only wish was that severide could've stepped up to let go of his anger towards him for Andy's death. That would've been a turning point after lying about his shoulder to show that he's authentic leader. I loved your analyses. Thanks.
