Episode 74 - Chicago Fire 2x06 "Joyriding"

We are continuing our trip down memory lane this summer by tackling Gina's favorite episode of Chicago Fire: "Joyriding." We talk about Severide's unusal running habits, our dream storyline for Nathan and Griffin Darden, how much we loved the Jay and Dawson pairing for what it was, Mouch's morals and so much more. We also discuss the news that a major crossover between all three shows will be taking place early on this year as well as TVLine's article with Derek where he discusses the status of Dawsey at the beginning of season 7.

Dust off those Leslie Shay feels, because we're getting down to business and discussing every bit of that heartbreaking Chicago Fire season three premiere. We also discuss the latest casting news, including the addition of new paramedic Emily Foster (played by Annie Ilonzeh), Severide's lumberjack alter ego, AND our first introduction to the one and only Sylvie Brett. This underrated NBC show was on for four seasons and never got the attention it deserved -- so we wanted to discuss it in depth and let out our pent-up feelings. WARNING: Linstead feels ahead!!! We break down the season three premiere of Chicago P.D. and discuss all of the important things: what CW show we'd like to see One Chicago cross over with, Simba- yes- THAT Simba, that baller suit Jay wore at Midway airport and how Sophia Bush manages to make partying all night look so GOOD. Gina also traumatizes Bryna by reminding her of a certain cross-show hookup at the end of Chicago Fire season three. All of this and more in episode 70- check it out!
